Before you plan anything, run your own numbers.

Two calculators I built for my own exit plan. Pivot Point finds the salary a lower-stress job needs to pay you. Expense Audit shows what every monthly expense is really buying, and the hours you'd get back.

What's on the other side of the button

The link lands in your inbox, and you join my list. Here's what you'll find, so you can decide now whether it's worth your address.

Who built them. I'm James. I'm a software engineer at a large tech company, and these are the calculators I wish I'd had before I burned out chasing a promotion. I use them for my own plan.

What they do not do. They will not tell you to quit. They show you the gap between the life you have and the one you want, in dollars and hours, so you can close it on purpose.

Inside the tools

  • Pivot Point. The salary your ideal job needs to pay, after your spending is honest, and what any side income has to cover
  • Expense Audit. Name what each monthly expense is really for, flag what you could release, and see the money and hours you get back
  • Private by design. Everything you type stays in your browser. There is no account and nothing is uploaded

Not for you if you already have the numbers and a plan you trust. Not for you if you want someone to promise you an outcome.

P.S. The tools are free, and the link arrives in the first email. Your numbers are the one part of this nobody else can do for you.
